Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Triply, the user agrees to these Terms of Use. If the user does not agree with these terms, the user should not use Triply.

2. Purpose of Triply

Triply is a group location sharing application for trips, outdoor activities, events, and group coordination. Triply helps members of the same trip see each other on a map while location sharing is active.

3. Location Sharing Responsibilities

Location sharing can reveal sensitive information. The user is responsible for deciding when to share location, which trips to join, and who to invite. The user should only share trip links or invite codes with people the user trusts.

4. No Emergency or Safety Guarantee

Triply is not an emergency service, rescue service, safety monitoring service, or security service. Triply should not be used as the only tool for safety-critical situations. Location data may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or interrupted due to device settings, network conditions, battery settings, operating system behavior, or service issues.

5. Acceptable Use

The user agrees not to misuse Triply. The user must not use Triply to stalk, harass, track, threaten, impersonate, or monitor another person without appropriate consent. The user must not attempt to access trips, data, systems, or services without authorization.

6. User Content and Trip Information

The user is responsible for information the user creates or shares through Triply, including trip names, invite links, and location sharing activity. Triply may remove or restrict access to content or trips if needed to protect users, comply with law, or operate the service.

7. Service Availability

Triply is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Triply may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Triply does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or performance.

8. Privacy

Triply's handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Triply, the user acknowledges that location sharing is the core function of the app.

9. Intellectual Property

Triply, including its name, branding, design, and software, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The user may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Triply except where allowed by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Triply and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, location accuracy, availability, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

Triply may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
