5. Location Data

Location sharing is the core functionality of Triply. When location sharing is active, location data is used to show the user's position to other members of the same trip. Location data is not intended to be public and is not intended to be shown to people outside the trip.

Users should only join trips with people they trust. Anyone with access to a valid trip invite may be able to join the trip depending on the current app functionality.

6. Sharing of Information

Triply does not sell user data. Triply does not share user data with advertising networks or data brokers.

Triply may use cloud infrastructure providers, such as Microsoft Azure, to host and operate the service. These providers process data only as needed to provide infrastructure, storage, security, and operational services for Triply.

7. Data Retention

Triply keeps trip and location data only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain reliability, troubleshoot issues, and support active or recent trips. Triply may delete inactive trip data as part of normal service maintenance.

If a user leaves a trip, the user should no longer be shown as an active participant in that trip. Some technical records may remain for a limited period for security, reliability, or debugging purposes.

Users can stop sharing location by leaving a trip, disabling location permission for Triply in device settings, or uninstalling the app.
